Apprenticeship Schemes

National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS)

NAPS is a scheme of the Government of India to promote apprenticeship. Apprenticeship Training consists of Basic Training and On-the-Job Training/Practical Training at the workplace in the industry. It is mandated by law that any establishment having more than 30 employees, should engage 2.5 to 15% (in MH & KA - 25%) apprentices of their total manpower, under the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 as part of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (amended in 2014)

National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS)

NATS is one year flagship programme of Government of India to technically equipp qualified youth with practical knowledge and skills. During the period of apprenticeship, the apprentices are paid a stipend amount, 50% of which is reimbursable to the employer from Government of India. At the end of the training period the apprentices are issued a Certificate of Proficiency by Government of India which can be registered at all employment exchanges across India as valid employment experience.

Bachelors Of Vocation (B.Voc)

B.Voc is a specialized 3-year undergraduate program designed to provide skill-based education for students who have cleared 12th grade. It focuses on practical training, industry exposure, and skill development in specific vocations like IT, retail, services etc. B.Voc program ensures that the students have adequate Knowledge and skill.

Diploma Of Vocation

D.Voc/ Advanced D.Voc is a specialized 2-year undergraduate program designed to provide skill-based education.

Work Integrated Learning Program

Under WILP the candidates will be enrolled in one of our university programs and will be undergoing on the job(OJT) training in the industry premises. The candidates under the following program will be considered for OJT.

Work Integrated Degree Program

This program is being implemented along with NSDC and a university partner in line with NEP 2020. The initiative is in line with UGC circular no. DO no. 4-6/2020 (NSQF) dated 07/12/2020 encouraging assosciation of universities/ HEIs with establishments to introduce apprenticeship/internship embedded degree programs.
